Since the end of the 1980s, I have been working with my team in the development of software and hardware.
We started in the field of laboratory and medical practice equipment with the software system mediCAD, which we developed ourselves.
Until the end of the 90s, we were the market leader in shopfitting for medical practices and laboratories with this system.
At the end of the 80s, the contact with the company EBKE-Küchen laid the foundation for today's CAD planning system DIaCAD. First as an individual 3D kitchen planning programme for EBKE and then under the name DIaCAD for the entire market.
The great experience of our employees is the basis for the performance of our software, which has become an indispensable tool for our customers over the years.

Short vita of the entrepreneur
Dirk Schottelius already gained fundamental experience in system development for high-frequency technology during his education at the Technical University of Clausthal-Zellerfeld.
As an application programmer, he developed his first own CAD system as early as 1985. During this time, however, his main focus was on advising various furniture manufacturers on the introduction and application of CAD techniques.
Through the cooperation with EBKE Kitchens, the focus of his activities changed at the end of the 1980s to the exclusive software development of his own CAD systems, from which the software programme DIaCAD emerged, among others.
His more than 30 years of experience in CAD development and application is today the guarantee that V.I.S. GmbH has a healthy and solid basis and, even as a small company, is one of the innovation leaders in the industry.
